Hot on the heels of our afterparty annoucement earlier today, we're thrilled to let you know about "Gonna Gonna Get, Get Down!", the free day party we're throwing on Wednesday March 15th, from Noon-11pm at Austin's newest indie/hipster joint, Red 7 (across the street from Sidebar, in back of Plush Lounge, and sharing an alleyway with Emo's and True Blue)

We'll have DJ sets indoors (until 5pm) and between bands outside (all day), by northKorean, Car Stereo (Wars!), DJ Don't-Mock-My-Englebert-Humperdinck-LPs Escapeest, and some special others to be announced.

From noon until 5pm, you can enter through Red 7's main entrance on the southside of 7th Street, half a block east of Red River Street (right across the street from Sidebar). After that, the entrance is through the alleyway shared by Emo's, Red7, and True Blue. Again, alleyway entrance! We'll have pictures posted later in the week to better illustrate this.

(Inside starting at 8pm is the official SXSW showcase, featuring Peachcake, The King Of France, Secretary Bird, 1986, Quien es, Boom! and Oliver Future. Note that they'll actually be operating two separate venues that day, with two separate entrances.)

What's more, we'll also have a couple of gift bags to hand out, plus extra spots on the evening's afterparty guestlist that we'll be giving away to the first 50 or so people to show up.
