Afterparty Shenanigans

Austinist and Gothamist have partnered up with a bevy of awesome people -- the full roster is shown on the flyer to the left, designed by Austin's Misprint Magazine -- to throw one hell of an afterparty next Wednesday, March 15th, after Ghostland Observatory closes the Austinist+Gothamist+Alarm Magazine Day Party over at Red 7 (more on that later). From midnight to 6am, we'll be rocking the house.

Expect performances by Grand National (London), The Cloud Room (NYC), Forward Russia (UK), and those sweet, sweet gypsy-punks Gogol Bordello (NYC). And how's about a sweaty, raucous dance party courtesy of Austin's own Car Stereo (Wars) and Ian Orth - aka Learning Secrets - plus one of NY's hottest DJ collectives, Finger on the Pulse? Plus, we'll have Toronto's naughty Scandal Scouts roaming around in sultry costumes, amazing video projections from Super!Alright!, a troupe of fire dancers performing unbelievable pyromaniac feats on the patio out back, and gift bags stuffed with ~~Austinist's junk mail~~ nifty goodies!

And yes, dear revelers, there will be a complimentary open bar: we'll have literally hundreds of bottles of Vodka, heaps of beer, and perhaps a bottle of Veuve Clicquot or two for you discriminating types.

It's all going down at the a twenty-thousand square foot warehouse (replete with "reactive video walls," "live re-mash interactive instruments," LED flora sculptures and a bunch of other things that we know nothing about) adjacent to La Zona Rosa that the wonderful fashionistas over at FactoryPeople hooked us up with.
