Get ‘Yer Tickets Heeeeeeeeeerrre! Get ‘Yer Tickets!

The heat returned to Central Texas yesterday, undoubtedly a sign that we can kick Old Man Winter to the curb for another year. To us, this means two things:
1) We can finally knock the dust off our trusty flip-flops
2) We get to watch baseball!
Spring training has already started for the big boys in Houston, and the slightly smaller boys out in our favorite North Austin suburb (Round Rock) aren’t far behind. Their spring opener on March 17th pits them against Buffalo – minor league outfit for the Cleveland Indians. Maybe it’ll be sweet revenge, seeing as Houston couldn’t quite get it together in their spring opener against Cleveland yesterday.
All that aside, today’s big baseball news is that Round Rock Express individual tickets go on sale tomorrow , March 4th at 9am. Good seats for July 4th and other fireworks nights usually sell like hot cakes (or those awesome elephant ears you can get at the stadium) – so get on their website and get yourself hooked up.
Or, even better, you can get your tickets at the stadium! It’ll be baseball-tastic up there, with singing auditions for the National Anthem, speed pitch, chances to run the basses (for kids only – leave the dream at home, Dad), and even an appearance by Spike (official Express mascot)!
