Bats Bid Farewell to the Bat Cave

expo_center.jpg

The Austin Icebats will play their last game in the Travis County Expo Center this Saturday evening. Next season they will be moving to an upgraded Chaparral Ice. The move will mark a major turning point in Austin hockey, as the Icebats have called the Expo Center home for their entire 10 year history. Hopefully the team will go out with a bang, or at least a win.

The team will definitely be going out on a musical note, as they will be featuring a concert by Soulhat as part of their True Music Series. The 'Bats play their final game in the Bat Cave against the Odessa Jackalopes with the concert to follow. The team will also be holding a charity jersey auction featuring their game-worn Texas Longhorn uniforms. Come Early, Be Loud, Stay Late, Dress Warm.
