We just spent the last two hours in line at Waterloo Records in hopes of getting ahold of a pair of this year's pink SXSW wristbands for our out-of-town friends. And while it was great chatting with the two lovely ladies, Amy and Emily (new BFF!) standing , standing in a line that wrapped around the entire street corner and edging almost up to GSD&M was less than pleasant. Still, the line moved at a fair clip as the kids at Waterloo seemed to have things pretty well sorted out.
Last we checked, they had a little under 100 of the initial 2,000 $130 wristbands available. Stop by over lunch if you're still hoping to snag one.

thanks for making the 2 hour wait not so bad! just drove by waterloo and there is still an hour or so line for the more expensive wristbands! yikes!

Just got back.. BRING CASH!!! You get to skip the line, which still looks like it'll take 15-30 minutes. Also, I'm not sure how many $150 bands they have but there are about 600 left of those, so it should go quickly.
