Blood, Sweat, & Beers: Not Just for Keg Kickball Anymore

Tonight is the last night to catch The Outdoorsment: Blood, Sweat, & Beers, a documentary about extraordinary feats of drinking coupled with agony-inducing physical contests, at the Alamo South Lamar, at 10:15 p.m.
From the Draft House's website:
Once a year, an exclusive group of men travels to a top-secret location somewhere in the wooded mountains of Washington State to compete in an all-day event they call The Outdoorsmen. ... Braving freezing waters, treacherous riverbeds, and the rapid consumption of over 30 cases of beer, the Outdoorsmen revel in the rush of adrenaline they get out of this once a year break from the responsibilities of the 9 to 5 world.A couple weeks ago, the producer and director of this independent project stopped by Austin for an advance screening, and Austinist can vouch that, if the premise sounds interesting to you, you'll enjoy the flick. Or maybe that's because the doc's creators plied the entire audience with a free round of Schlitz — just a kiss of the hops!
