Tomorrow Night at The Longbranch: The Crackpipes, The Faceless Werewolves, Brothers and Sisters

This Saturday, The Longbranch Inn opens its doors to three Austin bands whose styles are so distinctively varied that it's sure to become one of the years most remembered performances:
The Crackpipes evoke spirits of jukejoints, jazz clubs, and punk rock dive bars in music that explodes in an adrenal-mental joyous noise. Theirs is a live act that combines The Stooges' Raw Power with Ornette Colemans' Science Fiction -- The Crackpipes make the imagination run as if being chased by snakes.
The Faceless Werewolves are a beastly pleasure, indeed. A deliciously vicious mix of glamourous trash and hypnotic hip-shaking rock 'n roll, The Werewolves bring out the animal of loud guitars and beats so primal, it howls, bites and claws. Imagine if you mixed the wild fun of New York 70's glitter rock with 90's Texas psyche; we swear losing your mind never felt this good.
After a sold out CD release party at Beerland, Brothers And Sisters are becoming one of the fastest-rising artists in the Austin scene today. Their sound evokes a smile from within, as it's good-hearted music so rich in spirit that one can easily draw influences to The Mamas and The Papas, Flying Burrito Brothers, and Roy Orbison. To put it best, it's a loving swell of folk, country rock guitars and heavenly voices that are sure to make you see the light.
