Tony Parker Makes All-Star Team, the NY Times, and...Oprah

If you thought your week went well, check out five days in the life of Spurs guard Tony Parker.
On Monday, he and girlfriend Eva Longoria appeared on The Oprah Winfrey show to donate $50,000 to Oprah's Hurricane Katrina fund and to talk about their relationship. On Wednesday, Parker scored 32 points and added 13 assists in a road win against Toronto. Yesterday, he was named to the 2006 NBA All-Star Team for next weekend's game in Houston. And today, Liz Robbins profiled the Frenchman in the NY Times just before he helped win another game against the New Jersey Nets.
Unfortunately, Parker is also planning to release a French rap album, but let's not rain on his parade this week.
In other Texas NBA news, The Dallas Mavericks have won 13 games in a row, and Houston is getting ready for All-Star Weekend.
