Saturday Night Party At Victory Grill

There's no point in sugar coating this one. The lineup is just too damn good.

Austinist has always respected and enjoyed the vinyl work of local designer/turntablist/artist DJ Starsign. But to combine his talents with that of Greg Most from the infamously soulful 45 kings: Waxploitation? And on top of that, Deejay Jennifer (who we are currently unfamiliar with, but wil be soon, we're sure) will also be in attendance? Well, that's just... we have no words. Our feet would do all the talking.

DANCE you silly kids, DANCE!

They are celebrating the achievements of a group called Shakedown Society at Victory Grill this Saturday night. We have no idea who Shakedown Society is, what they do, or what they're so excited about celebrating. If anyone out there knows, please educate us. Regardless of previous knowledge, we would show up to this party to FIND OUT who they are, just based on their DJ lineup and their food/booze sponsors:

Tito's Vodka, Liveoak Brewery, the Whip-in, Jo's Coffee Shop and Bakery, and GoGo Gourmet (to name a few) will all be representing with food and drink!
