From Angry Robot by way of SXSWBaby!, we just heard that SXSW music wristbands are slated for sale on Thursday, February 23rd. That gives you exactly two weeks to scrounge up the $130 it'll take to get your clammy hands on that cold sliver of sweet, sweet plastic - unless you're too cool to be one of the first 2,000 lined up at Waterloo Records a fortnight from now, in which case it'll run you $150 and beyond.

now we only need to know what time they go on sale. i'm just psyched that i'll be in town that day.
Wow, an average of $35 a night to be sandwiched into clubs you can't get out of, resulting in band-immobility. Whatta deal. Free afternoon shows and picking showcases at about 5-6 in the afternoon is the way to go.
Someone's got a case of the Thursdays.
SXSW is what you make of it...if you have a negative feeling before you go, you should probably just stay home.
The rest of us will have plenty of fun in your absence.
