Because Who Doesn't Dig the Banjo?

For those of you that enjoy more traditional, arguably more melodic, music, Austin is hosting the 18th Annual International Folk Alliance Conference Friday through Tuesday. Over 200 showcase artists will perform, including Arlo Gutherie and our ever-popular Kinky Freidman. So head on over to the Hilton to take in exhibits on Texas music and pay homage to Townes Van Zandt, the inspiration for this year’s theme, “For the Sake of Song.” Or check out the deluge of in-stores at Waterloo.
