Soup Peddler Feast: Make it Funky

David Ansel's Soup Peddler is getting together with the Alamo Drafthouse to put on a fundraiser for the New Orleans Musicians' Clinic. ChiliGumbo will be featuring a tasty cajun meal while showing a movie about the music of the same origin. New Orleans is the heart of American music. Its beats have resonated for over 100 years, and Its traditions go back much farther. The documentary Make It Funky! is its story.

In addition to the film, Soup Peddler will be serving a delicious feast during the showing. The meal will include a 12 oz bowl of veggie chili with cornbread and a 12 oz bowl of chicken and andouille gumbo with French bread. With introductions from Ray Benson and Cyril Neville and a Q&A session from director Michael Murphy.
