Austinist Giveaway! Bloc Party's Documentary+Concert DVD, God Bless Bloc Party
Bloc Party, one of our favorite breakout bands from the UK last year, recently released a combination documentary ("rockumentary? blocumentary?" -- Stereogum) and concert DVD.
Entitled God Bless Bloc Party, the disc comes packed with an hour-long chronicle of their second US tour (during their first, if you can recall that far back, they played at SXSW and inadvertently trashed our former editor's house) as well as concert footage from their June 2005 shows at the El Ray Theater in LA and July 2005 at a festival in Belfort, France.
