To Do: Run 13.1 Miles

We like to think of ourselves as a healthy bunch. We've been anticipating The 3M Half Marathon (and relay) for a couple months now. Training diligently. Eating right. Sleeping right. Cutting back on the beer consumption. ( Well, maybe not as much as we should have...but we read somewhere that beer actually replaces certain phytochemicals lost while running-so we considered them as part of our training regimen.)

But it's finally here. This Sunday, 7am. The most fun half-marathon of all. The goodie bag is supposed to be awesome. Maybe a sweat-wicking t-shirt? Some bright red socks? Coupons for free stuff all over town?
And the course is going to be great! Primarily down hill, through urban streets, live music all along the way, water at every other mile. This run is going to be one to remember! And proceeds benefit the Capital Area Food Bank. Warm and fuzzies, people!

If you still want to run, you've got some time to sign up. It would be a great first race if you've never done one before.
