SWA Debuts Mobile Check-In

Southwest Airlines, the number one carrier at ABIA, announced its new mobile wireless flight check-in system on Monday. The system will allow passengers to use a special mobile website to check in for their flight while not at a computer or flight kiosk. Great news for all you on-the-go SWA flight types who always have to board in the first group.
According to the press release, "Customers with data access functionality and a web browser simply visit mobile.southwest.com, customers then enter a confirmation number and the first and last name of one of the passengers listed in the reservation. Once checked in for the flight via the mobile device, Customers can simply proceed to the airport and go to the nearest RAPID CHECK-IN Kiosk to print the boarding pass. The system will recognize that the Customer has already checked in for the flight and will print a boarding pass reflecting the boarding group that was indicated on the Check-in Confirmation screen of the mobile device."
Who's going to be the first to try it out and let us know how it works?
