You Mess With the Alamo Drafthouse, You're Gonna Pay

You may have heard in recent weeks about a man who was running around town committing armed-robberies at restaurants. (No, we didn't tell you about it here, but Jesus, people, do we have to do everything for you?)

Well, apparently this fella robbed five different restaurants in Austin, the last one being the Alamo Drafthouse Village on Anderson Lane. He terrorized Austin after having done the same thing in Louisville. Apparently, he was feelin the heat, so he got the heck out of dodge. (We are not sure if he stole a truck to facilitate said escape.) But you gotta wake up pretty early in the morning to fool the APD and the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (an operation that includes the U.S. Marshals and FBI, and maybe Walker Texas Ranger.) They tracked his punk-ass down in Los Angeles, where all the wanton folks eventually end up - save us a seat, and has been charged with the robberies here in Austin. We are sorry for the restaurants who had to endure the traumatic events perpetrated by one Lloyd Rhodes, who identifies himself as Michael Dotson, and we are glad this criminal will be doing some time if and when he is found guilty.
