SXSW 2006 Volunteer Call

South by Southwest (SXSW), March 10 - 19, 2006, is offering a multitude of volunteer opportunities to interested Central Texans. Volunteers are needed for the music, film and interactive conferences and festivals. Jobs range from festival production to conference activities, including registration, information, trade show, technical support, and much more. Day and night positions are available during the conference.

If you are interested in volunteering, you first need to complete a Volunteer Application, and then attend the Volunteer Call. Application forms may be found online, or can be filled out at the Volunteer Call. Online applicants will need to print out a confirmation form to turn in at the Volunteer Call.

New volunteers arrive between 2:30 and 5:30PM

At the Volunteer Call, applicants will watch a brief video, have their photo taken for the volunteer database, and then meet with SXSW staff and crew chiefs to indicate their crew interests and availability.

Volunteer crews will fill up quickly. If you are unable to attend the Volunteer Call, but would still like to apply, please contact a SXSW Volunteer Coordinator as soon as possible.
