Keep Your Hands off Our Duely

If you drive a pick-em-up truck, you best watch your back. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the top three makes of automobile stolen in 2005 were all pick-up trucks. We are not sure exactly what the allure to trucks is or if maybe they are just easier to steal or if they are so ubiquitous in the Lone Star State that crooks feel they can go less-noticed in a stolen one than in, say, a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow or maybe it is just easier to steal the entire truck than trying to peel off those badass Calvin-pissing-on-whatever-stickers. The DPS reports that stolen cars cost the state about $760,000,000. The complete list follows. Read it, learn it, know it. It will help you be more paranoid. And that's always a good thing.

3. Dodge Pickup
4. Honda Accord
