Blalock to Return for Senior Season

Good news for Colt McCoy and the rest of Longhorn Nation. Junior offensive tackle Justin Blalock used his few minutes of speaking time at Sunday night's pep rally celebration to let everyone know that he'll be back for his senior season. The Third-Team All America helped anchor one of the best offensive lines in school history for a team that set an NCAA record for points scored in a season. Blalock explained his decision:

"One of the big things was coming back and getting my degree," Blalock said. "My family feels very strongly about that. Also, I love being in Austin. I have a lot of good friends here, and I'm having the time of my life. It's a lot of fun, and I've talked to a lot of guys that are in the league, and they said they miss the camaraderie and the fun part of it, and it's just all business up there. I didn't feel like that was something I wanted right now."

I liked when he took a picture of himself with the trophy before starting to speak.
