Celebration Announced for Best Team in College Football
The University has announced a big-ass stadium party to celebrate the football team's national championship. From the UT site:

Longhorn players and coaches from the school-record-setting 13-0 squad, as well as the University of Texas Longhorn Band, cheerleaders, Bevo and other spirit groups, will be in attendance.
Gates will open for the event at 3:30 p.m. (Central Daylight Time) and the program will begin at 5 p.m. Video highlights of the year will be running on the Jumbotron in the stadium beginning at 3:30 p.m.
The University of Texas at Austin Tower will be lighted through Sunday, Jan. 15. The Tower will be bathed in orange with the #1 displayed on all four sides, in honor of the university’s fourth national championship team.

The concession stand will also be open, if you care to dine at Chez Bevo while watching highlights. But seating will be somewhat limited since the westside upper deck is closed for construction.
