We're number one, baby!

Wherein we admit that we only watched snippets of the game, and missed the glorious finish. Well, a new Project Runway was on, and it seemed every time we switched over to the game, Texas fumbled or lost the ball. So we decided, better not to jinx the game and watch it.

We are so proud of our team! We always knew UT was the best, but now everyone does. We swear we saw a sports commentator last night getting weepy over a Mack Brown box of Wheaties - in a happy way.

How did you celebrate the win?

- Rose Bowl ratings in Central Texas bigger than for the Super Bowl. Okay, that's really not a surprise.

- Are the USC championship shirts on their way to Haiti?

Uh, yeah. SHAME on you! Please tell me that Odam is gonna write up a review of the game worth reading. Because this was just the most amazing, intense college football game I've ever seen--the only one to come close to rivalling the energy and excitement of a UNC/Duke basketball game. (Hey, I'm a UNC hoops fan--that's the ultimate compliment from me.) And we won! And it was awesome! Also, Vince Young is a GOD.

seriously, shame on you for watching anything last night but the best rose bowl in college football history. i doubt anyone could dream up a more incredible game that finally proved what us longhorns knew all along... that we're the best college football team... period!

Watched the game in a smoky bar at the St. Louis airport. I was only of only two people cheering for the 'Horns — the other dude had them for points. Most people up here now hate me because my predictions came true!
