Has the Whole World Gone F**** Crazy? Am I the Only One Who Cares About the F*** Rules Anymore?

Bill Hicks was a smoker. Bill Hicks was a drinker. Bill Hicks was a Texan. Bill Hicks was an animal lover. Bill Hicks was one of the greatest commentators on American society. Bill Hicks was a genius. Bill Hicks was an absolute, freaking legend.

We dare you to sit and listen to some of his best works and not laugh till you cry. If you have not heard him you will be mesmerised. But of course you’ve heard him before. He’s Bill “Freaking” Hicks.

On what would have been the comic’s 43rd birthday (he was taken tragically by pancreatic cancer), the Dirty Dog bar hosts a tribute to the comedic mastermind. The Hicks Foundation is teaming with RykoDisc to present a viewing and listening party for two new Hicks release: the remastered movie Sane Man with additional footage, and the CD Salvation.

So head over and raise a glass to Bill and try not to spew beer all over the person sitting next to you. We wonder what your favorite Hicks rants of all time are? Flying Saucer Tour? The homeless situation in NYC? Drugs? Reagan? Bush?
