This Lady Is A-Ok

Next Thursday will mark the 93rd birthday of Lady Bird Johnson, widow of our 36th President of the United States and visionary behind our Town Lake Beautification Project. Austinist wishes the good miss the happiest of birthdays!
And to celebrate, the Continental Club is presenting their inaugural "Ladies Nite" this evening, the twist being that everything performed onstage will include the word "lady" at some point:
Spontaneously conceived over happy hour pints at a local drinkery, "Ladies Nite" will feature a vibrant array of Austin musicians singing songs with the singular or plural form of the word "lady" in them. While "lady" doesn’t necessarily have to be in the song title, it must appear at a strategic point in the song (e.g., "Someday, lady, you’ll accompany me." – Bob Seger, 1983). The whole she-bang is guaranteed to be a real "hoot."
On the roster are (deep breath): the Diamond Smugglers, the Rockland Eagles, Gretchen Phillips, Masonic, the Transgressors, the Texas Sapphires, the Fire Marshals of Bethlehem, Barons of Stilton, Dumptruck, Hilary York, the Dead Motley Sex Maidens with Greg Beets + Friends, the Daylight Titans and more (line-up subject to change). Some songs you might expect to hear:
"Lady" by Kenny Rogers
"Lady" by Styx
"Lady" by the Little River Band
"Lady" by Lionel Richie
We're sure you spot the pattern.
