Midnight Deadline for the Chronicle's Short Story Contest

Consider this a reminder for the wordy folks: the Austin Chronicle's fourteenth annual Short Story Contest ends at midnight tonight. So long as your entry is postmarked by this evening, you'll be in the running for the $1,500 in prize money to be disbursed to five lucky writers. And, in case you missed it and happen to be furiously churning out prose this very minute, we're reposting the rules here:
1. Your work must be unpublished, typewritten, and must be no more than 2,500 words.
2. All entries must be accompanied by a separate cover letter which contains the name, address, and phone number of the author, as well as the title of the story.
3. The author's name must not appear anywhere in the manuscript.
4. Only one entry per person.
Manuscripts should be submitted to Short Story Contest, PO Box 49066, Austin, TX 78765. They'll be announcing winners by the end of January. Best of luck!
