BookPeople To Host Sen. John McCain Booksigning

Senator John McCain will make a quick stop at BookPeople this Sunday to sign copies of his new book, Character Is Destiny. The new book from the Arizona Republican is a collection of short biographies of figures ranging Empress Theodora of Byzantium to Pat Tillman, each embodying a character trait that McCain believes is essential to success.
The hour-and-a-half signing begins at noon, but you have to get there at 9 a.m. to pick up a ticket to reserve your place in line. Also, books must be purchased from BookPeople in order to be signed. This is McCain's only book signing in Central Texas.

From BookPeople's release:
At 9 a.m. BookPeople will begin handing out tickets indicating place in the line to get a book signed (classic Take-A-Number Style). Tickets are free. However, to get a ticket and get your book signed, you must have purchased a copy of CHARACTER IS DESTINY from BookPeople and present your BookPeople receipt. Due to Sen. McCain's Tight Time Schedule, he will not be personalizing books, only signing them. And buying a book and a presenting your BookPeople receipt will not guarantee your book will be signed. When the Senator's time's up, that's it, he has to leave whether or not all the books of the folks in line have been signed. This event is a booksigning only. Senator John McCain will only sign one copy of Character is Destiny, Why Courage Matters, Faith of My Fathers, or Worth the Fighting For. Books must be purchased from BookPeople in order to be signed.
