A New Dealer for Your Weekend Sports Fix

As we're all aware, the Rose Bowl is only 26 days, 9 hours, 24 minutes, and 41 seconds from kickoff. But one couldn't ask for a better matchup this Saturday to fill the cold, orange void left by Longhorns' football.

Tomorrow the No. 2 Texas men's basketball team takes on down top-ranked Duke in East Rutherford, NJ. The scenario is familiar: two undefeated teams, one a strong program looking to make it to the top, the other a perennial powerhouse hoping to ride its superstars (including the best chucker in college basketball, J. J. Redick) to another lucky victory on a 40-foot buzzer beater.

Tip off is 12:30 p.m., Austin time, on CBS.

Still need more local ballin', but also feeling charitable? Then check out the Austin Toros game and holiday toy drive this Sunday. Bring a new toy to the game against the Florida Flame, and you'll get a free ticket when you buy a regular-priced one. Kids 14 and under will also receive a Toros holiday ornament while supplies last. The toys will benefit Project Brown Santa.

The game is at 3 p.m. in the Austin Convention Center. Tickets start at $9.
