The Texas Memorial Museum is having a holiday shopping event. Knock 20% off museum merchandise through this Thursday, Dec. 8th. The shop has "jewelry, educational toys, books, puzzles, t-shirts,
stationery, rocks and minerals, and other fun gifts" -- nothing says "fun gift" like an educational toy.
The museum shop is also hosting a book signing this Thursday. Joe Nick Patoski and Laurence Parent will be putting their John Hancocks on copies of Texas Coast, out from UT Press, from 4-7 p.m.
