If you've been in Opal Divine's and always wanted to try more of their vast selection of whiskey, now's your chance. The Third Annual Whiskey Festival is this Thursday at the Penn Field location, and if the last two were any indicator it will be an event not to be missed. They will be featuring over 45 of the finest single malt whiskies from all regions of Scotland.

The Opal's staff will be imparting more wisdom about the selection than you could gather in a year of individual tasting; trust us, we've tried! It's an excellent chance for beginners to get a sample of their selection and for those more experienced to expand beyond their norm. Plus, it benefits Meals on Wheels of Austin so you can tell yourself you did a good thing the next morning.
