'Tis the Season for Holiday Events and Charity Auctions Galore!

See here, Austinites, we've got a couple of fun and charitable events for your consideration.

The Ashera Project is having a fundraiser on Saturday, December 3, from 6-9 pm. Listen to music (including Laura Freeman and Matt The Electrician), get a chair massage, participate in a silent auction, and help raise bucks for this wonderful organization which, among other noble endeavors, helps to prevent teenage pregnancy in Austin high schools. The event takes place at Ruta Maya at 3601 South Congress.

Rare Magazine is having a Winter Shopping Event at The Mansion on Judges Hill on December 8th, from 5-9pm. Bring an unwrapped children's toy and receive $5 off the $10 admission price. The toy will go to an Austin children's charity. See their website to purchase tickets in advance.
