Lovejoy's: Free Beer for Toys!

This Sunday, December 4th, from 4pm - 10pm, Lovejoy's (604 Neches St) is holding its 12th annual (and final) toy drive to benefit Operation Blue Santa.

Stop by with a new, unwrapped children's toy, and Lovejoy's will provide you with a beer on the house!

Operation Blue Santa delivers food and toys each holiday season to familes in need in the Austin area. If you are interested in volunteering your time, you can get more information on their website. If you'd like to donate, you can do so by making a monetary donation online or drop off toys at any of the following locations: Austin Fire Station, Chuy's Restaurants, KB Home Community Centers, Lucy's Boatyard or Hula Hut.

Operation Blue Santa does not accept or give out toy weapons of any kind. They provide each child with 2 toys, a book, stuffed animal and stocking stuffers. Donations should be made by Dec. 15th to ensure enough time to sort and package the toys. Toys are especially needed for the 1-2 year olds & 10-14 year olds.
