Holy Ice Rink Batman!

Austin is on the brink of having its very first outdoor ice rink!

We love the idea of not having to hike a gazillion miles (naked, in the frigid weather, uphill-both ways) to North Austin - even if it is just for the holiday season. The lovely elves at Whole Foods at 6th and Lamar are establishing an ice rink and "winter village" atop their Landmark Store from December 2nd to January 1st. The view will be spectacular! You and your loved one, holding hands, pink noses, steamy exhales lingering in the air and the Zilker Christmas Tree in the distance...
