MORETEMPO!

Moretempo is going on tomorrow night. We’ve been fans of the DJs behind this party for quite some time, and we really respect what it is that they are trying to do by bringing out the more odd & interesting dance selections from their crates. An expansion of music awareness for you to drink and dance to. If Austin has a DJ culture, this should be its mantra.

There’s no reason to go on and on about the individual DJs, as you have probably already heard them out. Combined, probability says Nick Nack and Starsign have played music for you and yours, as a team, or flying solo. Peacock, Tambaleo, Fire House, Red Fez, Whisky, Alamo Draft House (Nick Nack’s Metropolis interpretation was/is kickasstastic – yes, that word is made up), Flamingo, blah-blah-blah. These guys have been around, and soon we’ll sit down with them and talk about all that they’ve seen and done here in Austin.

But for now, if you enjoy truly eclectic dance music (with so many top-40 nightmares happening every weekend, you might consider trying something more soulful like Moretempo), don’t miss out on this periodic party, which is happening at Copa (this time). Get drunk. Get silly. Move something.
