<description>&lt;p&gt;Too late to register AND vote in the November polls.  Oct 11th 2005 was the deadline (takes 30 days to become effective).

But everyone should go ahead AND GET registered while it&apos;s on your mind (even if you miss this specific vote).  That way, you&apos;ll be good to go for the next round.  &lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;I&apos;m a little lazy, so maybe you can provide a link to information on how to register to vote?  Is it too late to register for Travis county or would you have to already have registered for the last presidential election?

I didn&apos;t pay too much attention in government class, I&apos;m guessing a lot of austinist readers didn&apos;t.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
