The Wait Is Finally Over. Ladies and Gentlemen, Rocky VI

stallone.jpg

Adrian is dead. Rocky has retired. The Champ is 59 years old, but he has decided to take on the defending heavyweight champion, Mason “The Line” Dixon. Yes, you are reading all of that correctly. Sylvester Stallone will write, direct and star in this utter piece of crap. Since starring in Rocky’s I & II, Stallone has consistently shoved horseshit movies down our throats, including Assassins, Judge Dread, Tango & Cash, Over the Top, and the list goes on…and on. In a head-scratching quote, Stallone describes the, what we thought was sad, changing nature of Hollywood, as it has moved from filmmaking to moneymaking:

It's not a dream factory now, it's a real factory. In a good way.

As the conclusion of shooting this fabulous movie, Stallone will begin work on Rambo IV. Nope, still not kidding.

Okay, I just wanted to point out Cop Land. That was a good movie, dammit.

    freudian slip.

Not to be overly pedantic, but isn't it "Judge Dredd," with two Ds? I only point this out because the "artful" respelling of "Dread" is so emblematic of what a complete cow pie the movie is.

  • This better not be Rocky VS His Mellonous Prostate.

There better be some Clubber Lang. That's all I got to say.

Sheesh - does Stallone have mob debts to pay off or what?
