They'll also be presenting a lecture on "Cross-Cultural Differences in Perception of the Self" as well as a dramatization of Plato's Allegory of the Cave. film/TV · Admit it: you always got a kick out of the gory intros to HBO's brilliant Six Feet Under. Drafthouse Downtown has compiled all of the drama series' random death scenes and will be screening them tonight. (9:45pm)

It's not in Austin, but Wurstfest kicks off this weekend in New Braunfels. Beer and chicken dance anyone?

 

Also on friday, The Skatalites will be playing at the Flamingo Cantina. Although it's not the original line-up, it should still be a great show.
