We've noticed from the handy-dandy BookPeople calendar to the right side of the main page here that Mr. Neil Gaiman is going to be in town Monday night to sign copies of his new book, Anansi Boys. We pre-ordered his new book, got it yesterday, and haven't cracked the spine yet. We have no doubt it will be as strange, darkly humorous and wonderful as Neverwhere and American Gods. This wet weekend may give us a chance to delve into Anansi Boys (when we're not out partying, ahem).

Lenny Henry (from "Chef!", a.k.a. Dawn French's hubby) recorded the audiobook version of Anansi Boys and Neil has posted the first track on his blog. It is definitely worth a listen.
