  • i have 2 tix to THE WALKMEN for friday night at the parish in austin for sale AT COST. $22/ticket. plz contact me if interested. i CANNOT go to the show. :(

    Thanks.

  • odam

oh she's hot for it, alright.

  • mark hammer

    trippy, but curious -

But delve a little deeper, and you find some strange, even disturbing ideas. Ramtha says mirrors are portals to a parallel universe. Ramtha says children with Down syndrome have "chosen" their condition.

that's bs. i CHOSE down syndrome and all i got were these fat fingers.

  • Jooley_Ann

PS -- And anyway, I know you really plugged the film so you could post some booty. But I wonder...how does Odam know whether the woman is hot to go, based only on her hiney?

  • odam

don't go makin fun of people with fat fingers who can't type! *sighs*

  • Jooley_Ann

Pat Robertson -- he's the reason we lost Rhenquist! You do watch The Daily Show, don't you?

BTW, the "Seriously" -- which makes me seem like a snot -- was supposed to be included in the block quote & should have been underlined w/ the rest of the jump. IOW, it's in the referenced article.

Just wanted you to know that I'm not a snot. A fat-fingered hack when it comes to HTML, but not a snotty, fat-fingered hack.

  • Allen

Obvs we plug this for the same reason we'd plug a Pat Robertson appearance: because they're fucking nuts.

And in fact I did not know of any such "Ramtha" cult, although I've always attributed my Hulk-like physique to a steady diet of Hostess Cupcakes.

    Seriously.

...just as I am kicking myself for forgetting to mention that the Alamo Village fundraiser is Tues. and Wed. this week, not just Wed. Oops. Be there anyway.

  • A

I know you are kicking yourself, Allen, for forgetting to include the Big Easy New Orleans Extravaganza movie and kick-ass meal fundraiser at the Alamo Drafthouse Village on Wed. $25 for food, wine, more food, cafe au lait, still more food, and a really great movie to watch while you stuff your face. But wait! That's not all! The best part is that 100% of the proceeds go to the Red Cross for Katrina Relief. Be there.

  • odam

i heard that movie sucked, but i think i am changing my mind.

  • Allen

That, my dear Odam, would be "What the [Bleep] Do We Know?"

  • odam

what even will be showcasing the gorgeous woman bending over to search the refrigerator? i want to RSVP immediately.

  • Jessica

Check out Amelia Logan tonight at Momo's- she plays at 10- it's a free show!

  • Miggo

    WHAT?!?

No mention of Talk Like a Pirate Day?

AAAARRRRRRRR!, ye be scurvy dogs down at the Austinist!!!
