Are you the next Food Network star? (We're not.)

We love our Food Network (mostly for Rachael Ray, Alton Brown and Paula Deen, not so much for Giada). We enjoyed watching their search for "The Next Food Network Star" earlier this year, and were happy when Dan and Steve won. Did you miss out last time? Don't fret, because they are now accepting applications and videos for another round. We would love for a fellow Austinite (or a team of fellow Austinites) to get picked for the final ten. You don't have to be a chef, but you definitely need to know your way around the kitchen.

If you have no clue how to cook, but enjoy watching pretty actors do it, the series premiere of "Kitchen Confidential" is on at 7:30pm tonight on Fox7. Darren Star ("Sex and the City") is producing, Bradley Cooper (Will from "Alias") is starring, and the show's been getting some good critical buzz. It's also on right after "Arrested Development", which you should be watching anyway.
