We Are Sellouts

We just wanted to remind you that two of our favorite bands, and bands that happen to spend a lot of time sitting in our living room, will be playing shows in the next 36 hours. When you know bands, they put a lot of pressure on you to get people to come see their shows. And when those bands are sitting on your couch, holding a gun to your head, you do it.

Fractious is playing tonight at The Backroom at exactly 10pm. This is a battle of the bands, the winner of which may go on a gigantic Zippo-sponsored tour. Come out and vote!

Then, tomorrow, Peel (an Austinist Local Music Is Sexy featured artist) is playing a show in San Marcos at Pete's Coffee. This is Peel's first show outside of Austin. The little fetus of a band we once knew is learning to walk!
