hey pof, go to cedar street on tuesday nights for nola musicians jam sessions, i doubt you wil find many white musicians for that one.

Are the majority of these musicians "not white"? I sure hope so. We have way too many white musicians in this town. I would love to go up to Detroit and get a bunch of black thugs to move down here and push out the white hippie folk singers. We already have enough of that crap. Austin needs some variety.

this is a very laid back environment and it should be a great place to see good jazz...sitting out in the grass on lawn chairs sipping beer on the east side. hopefully this influx of nola artists will continue the expansiojn of the east side music scene and bring it more attention. thanks, ami. burly
