We realize this has more to do with Vermont than Austin, but we just couldn't help sharing our new discovery which just happens to be heaven in a pint. Ben and Jerry's has a newish (well, new to us, anyway) flavor and it is called Brownie Batter. Genius, right? We found it at HEB and we might never stray. The dessert buck stops here folks. Let's hope the scoop shops will start serving it so we can stop by the Ben & Jerry's on 5th and Lamar and eat it with a waffle cone. Perhaps we should start a petition.

I think that one has been around for a while. There's also---and you might want to sit down for this---a flavor called "Half Baked" that combines the brownie batter and cookie dough.

I've consumed a gallon or two of the "Half Baked" (it was bought for me as a joke---haha---not funny---now it is a full on obsession).
I'll have to gorge on a tub or two of the Brownie Batter.
