Local Music is Sexy Band Profile: Peel

You might have heard that we have something in the works for all of you that don’t want to get scorched by the Texas heat or don’t have the cash to pay for 3-day passes. We are throwing our own FREE end of summer party that will feature FIVE great local bands to show how much we appreciate you, the local music fan. We will be releasing all the details shortly, but for now we will introduce you to one of the bands everyday this week...

Our first band preview is young up and comer Peel, who will be the opening act. Formed early last year, this 3-boy/2-girl combo mixes experimental rock urges with pop song hooks. We suppose that’s what happens when you admit two of your biggest influences are Blondie and Brian Eno. Show up early (9pm) on Saturday September 24th. unfortunately, it is at a bar so it has to be 21+ (there are exceptions for band members ONLY). however, we really appreciate our younger readers and we are working on making the next party an 18+ event. sorry, madison :( we've all been there, it sucks...
