Cindy Sheehan To Speak in Austin Wednesday

We don't care what some televangelists say. Cindy Sheehan is not a terrorist. Sheehan, who has been camping outside of President Bush's vacation hideaway, will be coming to Austin tomorrow. Her visit will be a part of the "Bring Them Home Now Tour." But the tour needs somewhere to sleep. If you have some extra room in your home for a tour member or members, please send Karen an e-mail detailing the type of arrangement you're willing to offer.

The Bring Them Home Now Tour will be underway on Aug.31st - leaving from Crawford Texas. There are three major routes, and you can get full information at Veterans For Peace. Dallas, Houston and Austin are Texas cities that are part of the tour, which culminates in Washington, DC on Sept. 24th - 26th.

The Schedule:

5:15 pm - BUS ARRIVES AT CAPITAL, 11th and Congress
5:40 pm - MARCH to CITY HALL, Cesar Chavez and Guadalupe
6:00 pm - RALLY
7:00 pm- VIGIL
