Austinist Happy Hour - There's Always Room for Beer

It may only be Monday, but we’re already thinking about the weekend. So, to kick it off in true Austinist style, why not join us this Thursday for another one of our (in)famous Happy Hours?

There have been many requests for a place further North of the river (Austin really is just way too yoooge to navigate sometimes), so we’ve picked the loverly Draught House as our next victim – er, drinking locale. And just so there’s no confusion, that’s Draught, pronounced “draft,” and House, not Horse, as many people still assume. Seriously, it says so on their website, and the internet NEVER lies.

Don’t be shy - show up for a beer or two. Or four. Well, maybe eight. Just get a cab home, you drunken lout.

bring a pickup truck, 'cause that's the texas way to kick it at a parking lot happy hour. I used to see people with dogs there a lot too.

They do have specials (not sure what they are) and they have free pizza during happy time.

Don't forget to bring chairs in case it is too crowded inside. They let you drink outside by your car, but they are watching you so don't try to thug a glass!
