BREAKING NEWS! Warehouse District on Fire!

Bitter End on Fire! Well, not quite. But enormous smoke clouds are billowing out of what Austinist thinks might be the Bitter End - firefighters have been here for the last 45 minutes valiantly attempting to extinguish the blaze.

Police have closed off a two-block radius from 4th and Colorado. We'd advise you to stay away from here at least for the next few hours - the air is toxic and traffic will likely be difficult to navigate.

Kitchen fire? We're not sure, but we'll let you know as soon as we find out.

oh dammit. please dont be the B-Side.

Reports say the dining areas and B-Sides suffered light to no damage; the kitchen and brewery area suffered heavy damage.

You figure they'll find a way to keep B-Sides open. Without a kitchen though, there's no restaurant.

Angst, angst, angst! My favorite place to hang on Fridays and forget the week is possibly a memory itself?

Turns out the fire was at Spaghetti Warehouse, according to the Alamo Drafthouse. I was at the LOTR showing last night when they broke the news (after The Fellowship).

The freaky thing was how the smell of the fire came about EXACTLY when the Balrog came on screen. We thought it was smell-o-vision!
