Lance is still in the lead

lance%20banner[1].jpg

With only three days to go until the Tour de France ends on Sunday, Lance held onto his lead today, at 2:46 over Ivan Brasso. Jan Ullrich gained :37 today but is 5:58 behind Lance.

If he wins, Sheryl Crow will go back on Oprah to re-create Tom "I swear, I'm not gay" Cruise's happy dance in honor of her ma-an. Nah, we're just kidding, her new Dell commercial is bad enough. We bet she didn't even pay the $1 for that Live Strong bracelet she's got on. At least not with money.

Feel free to speculate about the results of the (or le) Tour and post your feelings about Sheryl Crow (think Lance had anything to do with her playing at ACL last year?) in the comments. Or, if you don't give a crap and can't wait for Lance to retire and could give two shits about Sheryl, tell us that, too.

I agree, it is so annoying to raise millions of dollars for cancer research. There should be less people like him and more people like me who just want to smoke my cigs in a bar.

I cannot begin to express how over this whole thing I am. I want him to go away, I want the bracelets to go away, and I want the lance-inspired spandex-clad losers biking in the middle of the road on 360 to GO AWAY! And I want to be able to smoke cigarette's in bars too, so screw his foundation as well.

Good luck, cause I think when he retires from riding he will be devoting even more time to cancer research. Maybe they'll do a new color... like mauve. And maybe next year Ivan Basso will finally win so his hott bronze Italian heartthrob sex face will be plastered everywhere for my "try to act nonchalant about it in front of others" viewing pleasure.

All I ask is that when he wins and retires, the yellow bracelets go with him.
