Fashion Weekend: Part One

ATX Magazine, Austin's latest free monthly set to launch this Fall, is throwing a Fashion Mixer tomorrow night at the Firehouse Lounge. They'll be displaying the works of some of Austin's best local designers, many of who will also appear in their upcoming runway show in September. This is also your chance to meet the folks behind the new mag, which plans on "illustrating local culture and lifestyle". Local DJ Toddy B will be spinning house music, and there'll be plenty of free food and (probably not-so free) booze. Cover is $10, half of which goes to an unspecified charity.
