Live From Austin, It's Thursday Night!

Do we like political satire? Yes, we do. Do we like a little bit of raunchiness in our comedy? Why the hell not. Are we fans of the sketch comedy of SNL? Mos’ def. Does the improv of Second City make us blow beer out of our noses? Well, we’re going to Chicago this weekend if that tells you anything. So, with all that said, we have been promised we will love the “Austin Live Show.” Hairy Melon Media has partnered with The Victory Grill to bring Austin a new sketch comedy show in the vein of our venerable favorites mentioned above.

The show takes place every Thursday in July (meaning, tonight!) at the Victory Grill. And not only do you get great live comedy sketches, but since this IS Austin, you’re also going to get a heapin' helping of live music as well. Tonight’s musical guest is Word Power Movement. So if you’re looking to have your funny bone tickled and wanna groove a little, head over to the Victory Grill.

Since we will be dancing with our lover to Ghostland Observatory tonight, we intend to head over to see the “Austin Live Show” next week. You can expect a full review at that time. In the meantime, you go check it out and tell us what you think.
