Austinist Happy Hour: South Congress Cafe

Yeah, that's right. Tomorrow is First Thursday, and we're going to be holding our happy hour right in the middle of it. We're not scared and you shouldn't be either.

We're not ashamed to tell you that we only recently discovered the neat beer garden behind South Congress Cafe. They have lots o' beers but they also have something called a Cuban Martini, which is a cousin of the Mexican Martini. (South Congress Cafe is owned by Trudy's.) You get a shaker full of mojito instead of margarita. Get it?!

Reasons why we'll need a drink tomorrow:

1. It will have been two days (almost) since we got wasted on our nation's birthday.

2. We will be hot and could use a cool drink.

3. Happy juice makes us happy.
