Austin City Limits Taping: Tickets Available to See Country Music Darlin’ Miranda Lambert Tonight
You know how you’re always like, “Damn, yo, why I can’t never get tickets to an Austin City Limits taping and stuff? Like, I woulda given my right arm to see Damien Rice in that little bitty studio with the great sound and the Austin skyline in replicate!” Well, here’s your chance to get in on the action. East Texas’ own Miranda Lambert is appearing tonight and performing her original country tunes that have gained notice from such media outlets as NBC’s “Today” show. You should have seen it; she told Matt Lauer he was glib. Wait, that was another show. She’s as cute as a button with a gift for that saucy 'this-girl-don't-take-no-guff' country writing, and if you want to see for yourself, just head on down to KLRU (Guadalupe and 26th, Communications Bldg. B, UT Campus) and tell the receptionist that you want a ticket, and that Austinist said it was ok. Tickets can be picked up until 6pm, and while the show does not start until 8pm, the good folks at KLRU suggest you get there around 6pm, because “Space Available Tickets” do not guarantee a seat, ya heard?!
